Webu Sayadaw
Webu Sayadaw was important for two reasons. First, he was one of the most highly revered monks in Burma at that time; he was known as an arahant, a fully liberated person. And second, he encouraged Sayagyi U Ba Khin, Goenkaji’s teacher, to begin teaching meditation without delay.
